TOURISM DIRECTORY

The Northwest Minnesota Tourism Directory is a great resource for recreation, attractions, and special events in our Land of the Dancing Sky area.  You might be familiar with the printed directory which is known throughout our area as the Red Book due to its bright red cover.  All the information contained with the printed version is also on-line at this web site.  Another site that focuses on nature based recreation in Northwest Minnesota is Nature Northwest.

ARTS and CULTURE

Arts and culture are an important part of promoting our area.  Northwestern Minnesota has a variety of experiences available to those visitors or residents who look to enrich their stay.   Historical museums, galleries, and regular production schedules are listed as well as links to arts calendar listings.  Some fine art and fine craft artists are listed in our Artist Directory.  This directory is a publication of the Northwest Minnesota Arts Council.

LAND OF THE DANCING SKY

The Land of the Dancing Sky is a brand created by the Northwest Regional Development Commission in June 2003.  We are proud of our logo (seen in the right margin) and hope that you will consider joining us in our effort.  We created this design in celebration of other dancing sky efforts throughout our area.  See the About Land of the Dancing Sky page for more on the development of this brand.
